Great article! I really resonated with “Somewhere inside of me… an equation… automatically found me lacking.” This is GOLD. To notice our internal patterns is life-changing. Literally!!!! Thanks for the article. It has made me think about other patterns we hold etc.. such as low self esteem. I am now thinking about that equation. (also love the equation language) :)

Thank you, Rebecca! I see a lot of my patterns as transactions and equations that I just didn’t agree to, creating an awareness gives me some choice now.

Great issue you've addressed here, Nicola! The mindless, automatic "sorry" can indeed be ubiquitous - I hear it (and say it) often. Replacing it with gratitude is a brilliant shift. Being boldly and unapologetically myself feels infinitely better than sheepishly "sorrying" my way through the day. Shifting the pattern, one response at a time, restores proper self-valuation, I agree!

Thank you, Michael. It’s those tiny shifts that often carry the most impact. 💜

I love this! Thank you for waiting and not sorry I'm late. The unconscious is a strange companion! I'm glad you help us make friends with and work with it as our partner. Find a new equation for better living :)

The unconscious is indeed a strange companion 💛 far better to work with it, than against it. Thank you for weighing in, Bronce. It is always a pleasure to engage with you.

Nicola, this really resonated. I have given the wrong kind of I'm sorry many times. Reading this, I can see that the shift from “I’m sorry” to “thank you” isn’t just language, it’s identity work, and you explained that beautifully. Thank you. Time for some work. :-)
